1. About Salma Data

Salma Data is a platform that allows you to connect and manage your online data sources and earn rewards by sharing anonymous and aggregated insights with trusted partners. Your personal data remains private unless you explicitly authorize its use.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old or the legal age in your jurisdiction

• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract

• Use the App in compliance with Saudi Arabian laws and all applicable regulations

3. Data Sharing & Rewards

• By connecting your data sources, you agree to allow Salma Data to process and anonymize the data for generating insights.

• We never sell or share your personal information without your consent.

• Rewards are provided based on the volume and type of anonymized data shared with trusted partners.

• Rewards may be in the form of cash transfers, vouchers, or other benefits.

• All reward transactions are processed through authorized payment providers in compliance with Saudi regulations.

4. Payments & Cash-Out

• To receive cash rewards, you must provide accurate payment details (e.g., IBAN, mobile wallet, or other approved methods).

• Salma Data is not responsible for delays or failures in payment caused by incorrect details provided by you or by third-party payment providers.

• Payment processing fees (if any) may be deducted from your rewards.

• Minimum cash-out thresholds and processing times are stated in the App.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information

• Use the App only for lawful purposes

• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or misuse the App

• Comply with all applicable Saudi Arabian laws

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property in the App are owned by Salma Data or licensed to us. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Salma Data is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• We do not guarantee continuous availability of the App or rewards.

• Our maximum liability in any case is limited to the amount of rewards you earned but have not yet received.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

• Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation, and if unresolved, referred to the competent Saudi courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

All your data is stored securely on Huawei Cloud servers located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, using a 3-layer encryption system.

If you create a Salma account or share your email with us for feedback, we store your email address on our secure servers.

Salma will never:

• Share your personal information with third parties without your explicit consent • Identify your close contacts • Save personal data without your consent • Perform any action on your behalf other than the actions you request in the App (Get data, Delete data, Manage ads settings)

Your Choices

You always have full control over:

• Which data you connect to your account (your “data wallet”) • Requesting removal of your data from our servers at any time • Keeping your data private or sharing anonymous insights with partners to earn rewards

Privacy-by-Design

We designed Salma from the ground up to protect your privacy:

• All personal data is encrypted using AES-256 standards and stored on Huawei Cloud in Saudi Arabia • No personal data is shared with third parties; only anonymous and aggregated insights are shared if you choose to earn rewards • Independent specialists were consulted during development to ensure privacy compliance • We follow Privacy-by-Design principles in all features and services

Why We Collect Data & What We Collect

Account Creation:

• Data type: Email address

• Purpose: Secure login and account management

Google Data Portability API (if connected):

• Data type: Chrome history, YouTube history, Google Search history • Purpose: Generate insights into your online behavior

Google Gmail API (if connected):

• Data type: Emails, attachments, receipts • Purpose: Generate insights and rewards opportunities

Control Data Feature:

• Data type: Email address, online interaction data • Purpose: Execute data deletion requests (“Right to be Forgotten”)

Earn Rewards:

• Data type: Aggregated interaction data • Purpose: Share anonymous insights with trusted partners

Web Extension (if used):

• Data type: Browsing history

• Purpose: Track and monetize data sharing (anonymous only)

Cash-Out Rewards Feature:

• Data type: Email, full name, payment details (via Stripe or equivalent) • Purpose: Process reward payments

Important: Personal information is never shared with third parties without your consent.
